Sheffield Girls' in Montpellier 2017: Landed safely!

On our way to Montpellier on the coach. We're about an hour late but everyone's well.

Itinerary

Day one: Monday 3rd April 2017

Coach pick-up: 08:30 Botanical Gardens.

(Please aim to arrive at 08:00 and do leave space for the coach to park)

Transfer to Manchester Airport.

Check in: 10:35 Manchester Airport (Terminal 3) Ryanair Flight FR36

Departs: 12:35

Arrive: 15:40 Carcassonne Airport

Meet LSF rep and coach at airport arrivals and transfer to Montpellier (Hotel Kyriad)

18:30 Meet host families at in Montpellier - then travel with them to their homes.

19:00 Evening meal with host families

Day two: Tuesday 4th April

08:00 Breakfast with host families. Host families to accompany students to LSF

09:00-13:00 French lessons at LSF Montpellier (break at 10:30-10:45)

13:00 Packed lunch at school (croque monsieur)

14:00-16:00 Guided walking tour of Montpellier. Free time to visit café and discuss lessons

19:00 Return to host family for evening meal

08:00 Breakfast with host families. Walk or take public transport to LSF

09:00-12:30 French lessons at LSF Montpellier (break at 10:30-10:45)

12:30 Packed lunch at school (quiche)

13:30 – 19:00 Half-day excursion to Nimes

19:00 Return to host family for evening meal

08:00 Breakfast with host families. Walk or take public transport to LSF

09:00-12:00 French lessons at LSF Montpellier (break at 10:30- 10:45)

12:00 Packed lunch at school (sandwich)

13:00-17:30 Take public transport to the beach at Palavas-les-Flots (beach game equipment from LSF)

19:00 Return to host family for evening meal

08:00 Breakfast with host families. Walk or take public transport to LSF (take luggage to school)

09:00-11:30 French lessons at LSF Montpellier (break at 10:30-10:45)

11:35 Airport transfer from LSF to Carcassonne.
