Your Host Families

I do hope that you get on well with your families and you may even stay in touch with them after the trip!  Though they are paid for hosting you, it would be a lovely gesture to give them a small present or thank you card to show your appreciation of all they have done for you.  Please think about this before the trip, as there may not be suitable opportunities for such shopping whilst in Montpellier.  It would be nice to give the family a small memento of Sheffield, e.g. an inexpensive gift from the Sheffield shop, or a card with a view of the Peak District…

Food

Food Your accommodation Full Board (breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal) is provided by host families.  We have passed on any special dietary requirements to them.  Other than these special requirements, girls are expected to try everything they are given. Please note that the first meal provided on the trip is upon arrival with the host families in the evening and the last one provided is lunch on the last day.  Girls should make their own provisions for meals before and after the provided ones, e.g. packed lunch for the coach journey to Gatwick and some money to buy an evening meal on the way home to Sheffield.
